The company was set up in 1986 by Silvio & Mery, when he was twenty and she eighteen, in Loano (Province of Savona).
A sustained period of growth through national and international competitions led Silvio to measure himself against the world’s best pastry chefs and chocolatiers.
He won the Super Sigep d’Oro in 1997 and has been a finalist in the four world championships.
Moreover, in 2003 he was a bronze medallist with Leonardo Di Carlo and Amelio Mazzella.
In 1995 he created the first laboratory exclusively for chocolate which was moved in 1997 to Vicoforte where the “Fabbrica Artigianale del Cioccolato” is now located.
In 2001 he was elected best “Cioccolatiere d’Europa”, and in 2006 he was awarded the “Eurochocolate Award” for the Artisan Chocolatier Category.
